*My Qualifications*
My career started in 1982 while working in maintenance at Wendy's in San Antonio, TX. The Regional Manager (Kevin) began teaching me the aspects of HVAC. Including but not limited to spark igniters, gas furnaces, grills, deep fryers, ice makers and building walk in coolers. Kevin then went on to work at Warren Refrigeration where he was Service Director. He offered me a job as a Service Tech. While there I went on service calls, built walk in freezers and specialized in Manatwoc ice machines. I was on my way to an HVAC degree 6 months later; in 1988 I graduated from Texas Vocational School with my degree in HVAC. I remained with Warren Refrigeration for 5 more years. I then went on to work at Lane Equipment Co. My first day there I was on a plane to the Sana Serve Factory in Chicago. I spent the next ten days learning to service Sana Serve frozen desert machines. I returned to Texas and spent the next 2 years making service calls on ice-o-matic ice makers and Sana serve desert machines for the Lane Equipment Co. I then applied for a Service Tech. position at Rally's in San Antonio, TX. I was hired to service 7 Rally's restaurants in the San Antonio, TX area. Within 1 year I became Regional Maintenance Director taking on all restaurant and HVAC equipment for 32 restaurants within various cities throughout Texas. I remained with Rallys for 5 years.
